Małopolska is a historical Polish land embracing south-east and southern part of Poland, located in the upper and partly middle Vistula basin. It ranges from Karpaty in the south up to Pilica River and out of Wieprz River in the north.

The capital of Małopolska is Cracow.

Małopolska is a very rich region because of its tourist values such as monuments, museums, medieval castles, renaissance and baroque buildings, churches and monasteries which attract millions of tourists from all over the world.

Both folklore and the local culture have always been present in Małopolska. The most typical feature of regional folklore is the traditional Cracow costume.  Signs of the folklore art: adornment of the trunks, artistic ironwork and smithwork, decorating houses with paintings. Up to the present day a lot of traditional customs and ceremonies are still cultivated, for example: creating Christmas cribs, “ Cracow’s wedding party”, Lajkonik, Midsummer day.

Another ethnographic phenomenon are highlanders divided into many different groups from which the best known are Podhalanie. Their costume consists of linen shirt, tight trousers decorated in specific way, shoes - kierpce made of a piece of leather and a sheepskin as an outer cover, on the head there is a typical hat worn.

The most fascinating places you can find in our offer are:
